Terms and Conditions

For entrants 18 years and over: By taking part in any virtual course and race, I certify I have read and accept the terms and conditions for participation in these events.

For entrants under 18 years:  By aking part in any virtual course and race, I certify I am the parent/ guardian of this entrant who is under 18 years and I give my consent for them to participate in this event.  I accept the terms and conditions for participation in these event on behalf of the entrant and declare them as capable of completing the distance they have nominated.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Entrants declare that they are physically fit and capable of participating in these events and courses and completing the distance of the courses stipulated. They are not aware of any medical condition or impairment that will prevent participation in this event or will affect their health by participation.

2. Entrants acknowledge that these are virtual runs and that the organisers will not track or verify results or provide volunteers, marshals or medical personnel assistance to any entrant.

3. Entrants consent to royalty-free use of their name, result, image, photographs, comments and any media you post on social media pages.

4. This is a free virtual event and by agreeing to these terms and conditions, entrants release event organisers, from all claims connected with participation. Entrants indemnify the event organiser  involved in this event directly or indirectly against all liability for any and all injury, loss or damage connected with the entrant’s participation.

5. By entering these events/virtual races, entrants consent to their personal information (first and last name) being used and shown on the results pages. 

6. Entrants accept that participation in this event is at their own risk and they accept that participating in this event may involve real risk of injury or death.

7. Entrants acknowledge they will participate and complete their nominated distances in a manner chosen by them,  at the locations specified within the dates specified and at their own risk.

8. Entrants acknowledge that should they withdraw for a non-medical reason, the entry fee is non-refundable.

9. Entrants acknowledge that they will adhere to government guidelines as pertains to social distancing as specified for the area of Nottingham at the time they decide to participate in any of the XC events/virtual races. And that they will not take part if they have any signs of being unwell and risk passing any illness to others.

10. Evidence cannot be submitted before the opening date of a race. .
